Plumbify.ai (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “Company”) operates the website plumbify.ai, associated mobile applications, APIs, AI-powered tools, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). We are a California-based company committed to protecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, register for or use the Service, or interact with us. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Usage and analytics data: pages/features visited, time/date stamps, referring/exit pages, interaction patterns.

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe—we do not store full card details).
  • Integrations you enable (e.g., Google Calendar, Twilio).
  • Analytics providers (e.g., for usage trends).

Sensitive Personal Information (if applicable): We may collect limited sensitive data (e.g., precise geolocation only with consent for certain features; no health/ biometric data unless explicitly provided in job photos).

We do not collect personal information from children under 13 (or 16 in some contexts) knowingly.

3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell or share personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA (no exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration for cross-context behavioral advertising).

We disclose information to:

  • Service providers/subprocessors (e.g., cloud hosting like AWS US regions, payment processors, analytics—bound by contracts to use data only for our purposes).
  • In mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales (with notice where required).

  • Right to Access: Specific pieces of personal information collected about you.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion (with exceptions, e.g., legal obligations).
  • Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not sell or share; however, a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link is in our footer for any future changes.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We limit use to necessary purposes.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: No discrimination (e.g., price/service differences) for exercising rights.

How to Exercise Rights: Submit verified requests via email to contact@plumbify.ai or our online form (if available). We verify identity (e.g., matching account details) and respond within 45 days (extendable by 45 days if needed). Authorized agents may submit on your behalf with proof.

We collect the following CCPA categories in the last 12 months:

  • California Customer Records (name, address, phone).
  • Commercial information (subscription details).
  • Internet/electronic activity (usage data).
  • Geolocation (approximate).
  • Inferences (from AI usage patterns).
  • Professional/employment info (company, job title).

5. GDPR / International Users (EU/UK/EEA)

For EU/UK/EEA residents, we process data under lawful bases (e.g., contract performance, legitimate interests, consent). We act as controller for our data and processor for your Customer Data.

International transfers: Data primarily hosted in US (e.g., AWS US regions). We use safeguards like Standard Contractual Clauses or Data Privacy Framework (if certified).

6. Data Retention

We retain data as long as necessary:

  • Account data: During active subscription + 90 days post-termination (longer for legal/tax reasons).
  • Customer/job data: While subscription active + your selected retention period (default 2 years).
  • Logs/analytics: Up to 24 months (anonymized earlier where possible).

7. Security

We use reasonable technical/organizational measures (encryption in transit/rest, access controls, audits). No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If discovered, we delete it. Contact us if concerned.
